Pieces to Peace

Things work better when we collaborate with Jesus and recognize that His command to love and forgive is usually hardest done in the most challenging parts of life. Yet, that is where the change happens. It is where we begin again. And when we recognize that we cannot see the whole picture here on this side of heaven, we can invite hope, grace, and peace into the space of faith.

.

The one thing I am certain about is that I can't imagine a future without Jesus. I am 100% sure that His love has more ahead than heartbreak. I am confident that when I release and relax in the arms of HIM and allow HIM to do HIS works, that's sweet surrender reminding me to take it all in, this beautiful and wonderful life here on this side of eternal living life.

.

The most beautiful part of that kind of love has been the most challenging kind of thing for my human mind to accept. That He doesn't give His love in pieces, it's a no strings attached, unconditional belonging that meets me right where I am. That love catches me in the landing. Picking me up. That love is goodness in light of my human vantage point. That kind of love is more than enough telling me I am enough. That kind of love is unreserved, unrestrained. It is wild; it is wild for me (and you). It's unashamed and proud to be seen with me (and you). That kind of love gives love wholly, even in the parts where the heart feels in pieces; that kind of love gives peace.
